New Gallup Poll of 463,000 Red Cross Aid Requestors

- Most said they had been able to get through the difficult time with the help of family and friends as well as their faith in God.
- Roughly 60 percent said they had trouble sleeping and felt depressed; about two-thirds reported feeling anxiety.
- Half the poll's respondents were separated from family members for at least a day. Seven percent said they still didn't know the whereabouts of at least one family member. 6% of parents were still separated from their children, and 16 percent said they had been separated but had since been reunited with their children
